How it works
Selling a Hilux privately brings plenty of calls, and plenty of time-wasters. Selling to us is simpler, and there are no fees.
1. Ask for a valuation
Fill in the valuation form, call us on 0800 206 2366, or send the registration, mileage and a few photos on WhatsApp. Photos of the underside, the load bed, the dashboard with the engine running and any damage help us make an accurate offer first time.
2. Get your offer, held for 7 days
We come back to you with a price. There is no pressure to accept on the spot: your offer is held for seven days while you think it over.
3. Free collection anywhere in the UK
Once you are happy, we agree a time to collect the Hilux from your home, workplace or business premises. Collection within the UK is free, and we can also collect from mainland Europe. Non-runners and Hiluxes with no MOT are collected on a recovery truck.
4. Same-day payment
We check the Hilux matches the description and the paperwork is in order, and you are paid by bank transfer (or cash, if you prefer) while our driver is with you. We will never ask you to release your Hilux until you are completely happy and the money is in your account. No fees are deducted.
Selling from a farm or business?
That is fine. We need the V5C and confirmation from someone authorised to sell.
What you will need
- The V5C registration document in your name (or your business’s)
- Photo ID such as a driving licence or passport
- All keys, and any service history and receipts you have
- If there is outstanding finance, the settlement figure from your lender
